Simply brilliant! It's one thing to know these Christmas specials, but it's
another to capture the essence of what captures the essence of these Christmas
specials... whatever that meant.

Another great video, and it being the Top 12 just adds a nice bonus. Merry

Also thank you for including the original Grinch and not the remake. The Grinch
and It's a Wonderful Life and Charlie Brown are Christmas.

referred to dandies. (today they would be called metrosexuals)

I think it's a play on words joke on the line from "Yankee Doodle"

Hello What about Nightmare Before Christmas, plus Christmas Carol bit was
missing the best version of the story Scrooged with Bill Murray

I love those extended pause takes when the tree speaks.

I was totally not expecting to see "Woodland Critter Christmas" on this
list. Interesting and fairly obscure picks in the first half. Of course, we ALL
knew what number one was.

That stuffed dog at the end- you made me smile! DIE, STOCKING STUFFER! ;D

Also, what the title says. Other then that, great list!

This was simply brilliant, loved every second of it and I agree with many of the
choices. Yet another fantastic video.

get at those novilty singing Christmas thing (they do get annoying > ).

Great list, dead on the money. Although it's too bad "KISS saves santa"
didn't make the list lol. Oh well, entertaining and hilarious in your usual
antics

Like ChaosD1, I definitely wasn't expecting South Park's Woodland Critter
Christmas to be on the list, but but very happy to see it. Quite possibly my
favorite South Park episode of all time, and one of my favorite Christmas
specials. It was just so unbelievably sick and twisted that I couldn't help but
love it.

Man, I LOVED "Woodland Critter Christmas!"

But, most of the specials were movies, but my picks came back to back, so
whatever.

You left out Bill Murray's "Scrooged". Sure, it's not a straight-up
adaptation like the others, but I really liked it. Murray made it funny, and in
my opinion it successfully modernized the Charles Dickens classic.

And I once wastempted to lick a flagpole, until the Mythbusters confirmed your tongue freezes
to it. However, if memory serves me correct they failed to cover how to
successfully remove one's tongue once it gets stuck... maybe that's for a future
special...

Aww, a giddy Nostalgia Critic is so incredibly infectious that, combined with
all those Christmas shows, I couldn't stop smiling for all 20 minutes.

Color me shocked that "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" wasn't #1...but
I'm still quite satisfied with "A Christmas Story" taking that slot
(it's a shame I'm the only person in my family that loves that movie). I was
also stupidly giddy to see "Merry Christmas, Mr. Bean" make it on the
list. That one's always been one of my "must-watch" shows around this
time of year. There will never be a time when Bean's "re-enacment" of
the manger scene is not hysterically funny.

So yeah, I'm filled up with warm, lovely, fuzzy feelings now thanks to this
video.

I really do like the Ron Howard remake of the Grinch but yes the animated video
is so much better! A Christmas Deserves to be #1 and i am glad you feel the same

What about die hard? It captures the true essence of christmas, by which I mean
guns and explosions!

OMG The Small One!!! I had the picture book when I was a kid and the Tanner
scared the BEJEEZUZ out of me!!! A Christmas Story made me have nightmares when
I was little, so I can't agree with that one personally, but I know lots of
people love it. MERRY CHRISTMAS DOUG, and Happy New Year too

Putting in the South Park special was very surprising (Because it's probably one
of the rarest post 2000 events you've mentioned.) but a good countdown. Bonus
points for Mr Bean!

I especially like that freakout at the beginning "CHRISTMAS! CHRISTMAS
CHRISTMAS CHRISTMAS!"

Though my personal favorite Christmas special would have to be The Nightmare
Before Christmas, those are some pretty great picks, Doug. I was a bit surprised
to see South Park on the list, but it certainly is a hilarious episode.
