Hello all!
Nostalgia Critic:
I guess I'll get the big thing out of the way first. Due to an unforeseen event we have been forced to push back the Captain Planet review to next Sunday.. Yeah I know another delay, but trust me, the video that will go in it's place will be nothing short of epic... An event came to our attention, and well Doug and his brother Rob had to drive 12 hours to film it. Actually they should just be arriving home now. This event hopefully will be on the site late Sunday (around 10 PM CST), or if worse comes to worse.. Late Monday. Trust us it's worth it!
This event has also allowed Doug to film a lot of behind the scenes footage, that will slowly trickle into the premium members private FTP account. So if you haven't donated and your interested in this extra footage from the event.. donate then! For all those who have donated, once again we thank you, and be sure to keep a lookout in the coming week for a lot more items to be added.
Bum Reviews
Next week will bring forth 2 new Bum Reviews, I believe Wall-E is one that will be done, and the other may be Wanted.
Ask ThatGuy
Ask ThatGuy Episode 5, was originally supposed to be Episode 7, but I decided to bump it up a bit. Therefore the next two episode will be Episode 4.3 and 4.6. Episode 6 should have some interesting things going down, and heck maybe some other series on this site will have some potential cameos in the future.
How Does Ask ThatGuy Work?
Basically I get all the questions submitted by all of you sent to one of my email accounts, and from there I pick the 'best' questions and send them all to Doug, and from there he reduces the lot of the 40-50 best questions from the week down to 20. He films 3 episodes at once. From here on out we plan on releasing about 3 episodes every 2 weeks. For the guy who submitted the screamer question.. I really do thank you, because that question immediately gave me a great idea on how to answer that question, which I then passed on to Doug, and well the rest is history.
5 Second Movies
Doug will be doing one more through his own idea, and then for the last one episode 101; we have decided to have a you pick one. Basically after episode 100 is online, a new email contact will be added to the site, similar to how Ask ThatGuy works, with this email link you will be able to submit the movie that you want to be made in 5 Seconds. The submission with the most requests of course wins. (Of course Doug may occasionally add a new 5 Second Movie after that if a really good idea comes to him.
Oh, and once again.. I'm not Doug/ThatGuy.. I am a completely different person, but it seems some people think that I am ThatGuy.. Perhaps a profile picture change is in order..
