Yeah, I think I was about eight when I saw this movie...I do have to give this movie some credit, however. It did two things for me. One, it taught my young impressionable mind that not everything that shows up in a theater is good. Two, it prepared me for the abyssmal nature of EVERY OTHER VIDEO GAME MOVIE EVER, and Three, it became the baseline on which I judged how terrible a movie is. So, there's that, at least. Everyone knows Luigi and Mario are brothers, Luigi was talking figuratively that Mario was LIKE a father to him. Still, to take it seriously as a joke was pure genius to me. It seemed like they had an idea for a movie already and then decided to make a movie based off the Mario games and couldn't come up with ideas and said "screw it!
