A shame you had to stop at 11. I put up my own list on Youtube:

8. All of Jumanji.
7. Close to You in Mirrormask.
6. The Giant Mouse of Minsk in An Americal Tail.
5. The opening sequence of Spirited Away.
4. All of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
3. The ark being opened in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The Wizard

Man, I remember seeing this as a kid. Huge disappointment how little time was actually spent on the games. I really don't get why they're so upset that the final competition is a new game; it's not like Lucas or the glasses chick have played it before either. Are Jimmy's skills based entirely on playing the games so much that he's just memorized them? |

The Wizard

Another little tidbit: during the scene where the girl marvels that Jimmy's played Ninja Gaiden for so long without getting hit, you can see that he actually has been: two life bars are missing. |

Steve Martin: The Man With No Brains
|
N/A |
It's a bit difficult to gauge Martin's performance in Spanish Prisoner, since under David Mamet's express instruction everyone underplays their parts to the point that they all look like totem poles. Still a great film. |

Captain Planet

One other thing to note is the ridiculous anti-Americanism. Not only is the American of the group the token annoying guy, but the show portrays America as practically an apocalyptic warzone in his first appearance, while the Soviet Union Linka hails from is a pristine forest. And of course, after the fall of the Soviet Union she had to be retconned into being from "Eastern Europe." |

Double Dare

Marc Summers also hosted the awesome What Would You Do, which ended with the Pie Pod that threw four pies into a person's face. Pretty fun to watch the series all the way through, as the damn thing clearly worked less and less well every time. Guess it wasn't in the budget to get it fixed. |

Hey, I LOVE Surf Ninjas! It's so obviously deliberately campy and ridiculous; at least that's what I tell myself. And you've got to love a supposed kids' movie where the heroes are allowed to kill people.
ET's got to be the number one saddest moment. |

Saved by the Bell

Bit of lag at the end; I think that's the first time it's ever happened which means Doug's still pretty ahead of the curve.
One of my bigger issues was that even as a kid it was impossible not to notice the double standard pattern in all the episodes about Zack and Kelly's relationship. Either Zack starts to stray or Kelly dumps Zack to hook up with someone else, and in EVERY SINGLE EPISODE it's Zack who we're supposed to see at fault, having to either make it up to Kelly or not stand in the way of her happiness. |

Kaylyn |
Lindsay: Nice material, plus when I pointed out a joke she missed she quickly answered back with a good justification for leaving it out.
Krissy: Like her enthusiasm, but despite the excitement her material is lacking. She basically just lists stuff about Sailor Moon point by point rather than trying to be funny with it outside the costume.
Kaylyn: My pick to win, since she's pretty close to Doug both in attitude and jokes (the Red Bull bit, while a little obvious, was very well played) plus she shows that she can go a long time with good material.
Lauren: Kind of the opposite problem of Krissy: good material but her delivery is way too dry.
Drew: Like someone else said, way too much simply showing us clips without any commentary.
So in the end it came down to Lindsay and Kaylyn, but I ended up picking Kaylyn for her (slightly) more engaging personality |
