Dear God, Captain Planet! If this message already went through and I just can't find it, prepare to sit through it again. I sadly remember going through a phase of this when I was five, and worst off I think my favorite character was (dum dum dum) WHEELER! Anyway, this was a great vid. You covered all the basics, like the power of Turner, the power of the man-kini, the power of inconvenient time spots, the power of bad dialogue, and the power of heart. Your fortunate you missed the episode where the Russian girl does drugs. What's unfortunate, however, is the fact that Cartoon Network recently showed reruns of this shit. Nevertheless, Ted Turner wasn't even cool enough to be entitled "creater", hence in the credits it reads "an idea by Ted Turner". Also note the three directors acredited. Three directors to make this shit stain on humanity. And last but not least, note the end theme with music taken from the end theme of the New Kids on the Block cartoon. Don't believe me see it for yourself

I'm just gonna get this off my chest I loved your video and I actually thought the Mortal Kombat movie was good(however, not the God-awful sequal with James Remar in for Christopher Lambert). I think what was most depressing about this film is that they screw up Ken's appearance. Now I've seen a million kids who cosplayed as Ken screw it up(not that it's a big deal or anything), but when a costume designer for a movie screws up?! I mean, this is no cosplay it's for a movie. You got the red gi, now get a guy rith long blonde hair. While your at it get one that can act and do a better shuryuken(I must've spellt that wrong) Guile's appearance was handled poorly. It was bad enough we had a Belgian playing an American, but what was worse was the torture chamber guy in the Honda whipping scene actually looked like Guile. Was Steve E. De Souza trying to tease us? |

Great review. I;m so glad you brushed up on this. I remember first seeing this when I was five. I thought it was so cool up until the part when they go to Earth. Then I was like "WHAT THE FUCK!?" It was so bloody depressing. You'd think it would be cool; a Star Wars rip-off based on a line of cool toys, set in a more grown-up atmosphere, but no! On top of they had a huge line of toys based on the magical alternate universe Eternia, which the creative staff could've easily used for their benefit and they just go ahead, and just put them on Earth, killing the magic, ruinig kids' chances to see their favorite characters come to life(like...uhh...Stratos and...the bee-guy)not to dispaying even less imagination than anyone who would take the easy way out and make an hour and a half long toy commercial. |

I'm so glad you reviewed Saved by the Bell. That show was/is the shit! I watched that show religiously since I was four and I still catch it on The N (the network that replaced Nick GAS) and it just never got old. Even if you didn't like it you still couldn't help but watch it. But anyway, I'm glad you made mention of Screech being stuck in puberty; it's just so appropriate that recently Dustin Diamond did a porno movie, and even when on Best Week Ever to accept an award. He claims to be ten inches. I also remeber seeing the episode where Jesse takes caffeine pills when it first aired and even at age 5 I was like "uhhhh...kay, so what about this marijuana that the Ninja Turtles are talking about." Nevertheless,the part when she broke down was definitely the first time I remember my mind getting fucked. "I"m soooo excited...I'm so..sssscared..." Anyway great review, keep up the good work, keep on rockin' in the free world and all that shit.  |

I wasn't ever a Tom and Jerry fan but I can see how it destroyed you and it was fun watching you rant about it. I gotta say that part where Applecheek's is about to rape the ice cream cart is golden. It's almost like the animators intended for the seen to look like that. As for Tom and Jerry talking, I gotta say...WHAT THE FUCK!!! |

That was awesome! I thought Terror on Tour was the real deal of crap
then this came along. Watching this video makes me almost wish I was
around a little earlier to experience the 80s(almost!) The rapping and
the lack of consistency, my God one for the vaults! I'm almost
speechless and I'm really looking forward to your next video. |

have thought Duke would have such a color scheme and instead of hot

Awesome! Another masterpiece! I've never actually seen Surf Ninjas
but I first learned through a trailer on the Ninja Turtles 3 VHS. How
appropriate. I thought it was gonna be another Turtles sequel. I guess
I was half right. Though I gotta say I never thought there'd be a more
shameless kid's movie than 3 Ninjas and Ninja Turtles 3 until
I saw this video. I mean both had silly acting and stereotypes, but this film
has more than the two combined. It's also got a musical number. I gotta find the
DVD of this now; it's destructive power is too good to leggo! |

Awesome vid! I think it's safe to say I played some uhhh unique games
in my life but Jill of the Jungle...shit! The knife actually look like
crucifixes, you could say Jill's trying to exercise the demons in these frogs.
As for the awful cover art you gotta check out the unofficial Jill of the Jungle
Website. They got some better illustrations, as well as another one in that
horrible Pac-Man style and one with a floppy disk in the corner wearing a
propeller cap and grasping a joystick in his lap (you know where this is going!) |
